She Sells Sea Shells.

I knew as soon as I made the first one of these for the pendant swap that I had to make more. I believe that being away from the east coast is making me miss it, and that brief trip home really solidified that feeling. All I want right now are crashing waves, cliffs, walks searching for beach glass and seashells galore. I hope you enjoy looking at these as much as I do.

Changing Tides

Please excuse the possibly horrid looking website for the time being. I'm finally getting around to giving everything a make-over (including re-photographing every piece of jewellery I've ever made today) so it might look a little funny during the middle stages.

I've applied for Urban Craft again, for the fall season. Hopefully they like what they see this time!! Even though I have no car and no table.. I'll figure it out if they say yes.

I've got quite a few new spoons, and more that I want to make sooner than later. See that middle one? Its mine. Like, I'm never going to sell it and I even made it for myself mine. That doesn't happen very often. As soon as I twisted the spoon I knew that I had to save it for something special. Why not some swarovski crystals that I picked up while at home?? I love it. I've also started incorporating other things with some of the spoons (like the dangling beads). I think it's fun, spruces things up a bit. Can't wait to see what else comes up.

Non glittery spoons? What? So bizarre.. But I like it ;).

For sale here. :)

And some fun layered plastic necklaces. They ended up being very big, and even more badass.

Pendants Swapped Part 2

As promised, the 5 pendants I received in exchange for mine. I got spoooooooiled!

Polymer Clay
I should give up ever trying to make a fork pendant. I'm not going to make anything like this.
Domino pendant :).
Lace over aqua. I like the feel of this one.
Its hard to see but the glass tube is filled with dandelion fluffies and the charm on the left says 'wish'.

I am so incredibly lucky and now have all this cool jewelry from other people. Yeah!

Pendants Swapped

Five pendants I made for the swap I joined on craftster. Can't wait to receive all of mine (2 down, 3 left too receive), then I'll share them with you!

My favourite of the set. I have many other sea shells that I want to do this to. :) Being away from the coast makes me miss it all the more.

My first time making anything 'steampunk'. I'm happy with how it came out.

Happy Birthday Canada!

Happy belated Canada Day to everyone from here, and happy Fourth of July for all of you in the States :).

I had a wonderful Canada Day filled with bike rides in the morning, then roaming around downtown for the afternoon right into the evening seeing everything there was to see. I was amazed (and shocked) by the sheer amount of stuff going on and the amount of people!! And apparently its okay to wear only flags and body paint, judging by all the mostly naked people I saw, haha!

I had a blast, and hope everyone else did with whatever they ended up doing.

You know, just doing a backflip on a pogo. Whatev'.

It was a long, tiring but fun day, and I ended up sleeping away most of the next day recovering.

I've got a few pendants to share with you from the swap I did, but I'm going to wait until they're received before posting pictures so I don't spoil the surprise in case any of them happen to look here.
