These are amazing, and would work with any steampunk costume you have in mind.
Fun for any time of year, but would also be perfect for a mummy costume!
DIY:
You could use these pictures as inspiration, and draw on plain tights to make unique costume accessories. (Make sure to put cardboard in between the layers of tights to avoid ink bleeding through, as well as stretching out the tights).

You could also draw on Frankenstein stitches, bugs, skulls, bones, or glue on things as well, spider webs and spiders, feathers, sparkles.
